Each of us will die. This isn’t a morbid idea and it doesn’t have to be fearsome. The more we talk about death and dying, the more practice we get facing and accepting our mortality, and the more we cultivate inspired living! Amelia is offering an Invitation to Inspired Living and Dying meditation and discussion class where she’ll lead a guided meditation on dying and facilitate conversations about death and dying.
------
Amelia Whalen is certified as an end-of-life doula by the Peaceful Presence Project and is a member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance. She’s always lived close to death from losing her mother at age 7, her own near-death experience at 18, and her husband’s long illness and death in her 30s. She offers workshops inviting her community to approach death and dying with an inspired perspective and advocates for death literacy and open dialog around end-of-life options.
